Training Programmes

Foundation Learning

- aimed at getting young people aged 16 to 18 out of the NEET group and into training (Work Based Learning or AMA Advanced Modern Apprenticeships) or Full Time Employment. You can build on your key skills andhae support in finding what you want to do. Get EMA while you learn!

Supporting Young Parents Programme

- 12 week programme which can help you gain qualifications NCFE Level 1 in Effective Parenting, City & Guilds Working With Others, Independent Living Module plus many more. You can get child care paid for while you are learning.

Positive Activities

Electric Palace Senior Youth Club

- Tuesdays & Fridays - 6.00pm to 8.30pm - 13 to 19 yrs

Activities in youth club include music workshops, DJing, drums, karaoke, pool, cyber cafe with internet, games consoles, cooking and sessions on issues that affect young people. There are awards that can be obtained. Live gig nights to showcase young talent.

Junior Youth Club

- Thursdays - 6.00pm to 8.30pm - 9 to 12 yrs

Blakenall Senior Youth Club

- Wednesdays & Thursdays - 6.00pm to 8.30pm - 13 to 19 yrs

Activities in the youth club include sports activities in sportshall, pool, darts, games consoles, IT suite with internet, darts, arts & crafts and sessions on issues that affect young people. There are awards that can be obtained.

Blakenall Junior Youth Club

- Mondays - 6.00pm to 8.30pm - 9 to 12 yrs

Baby Cafe

- Fridays - 1.00pm to 3.00pm - for young parents and pregnant teenagers to socialise together and support each other 

Step Up

- Is a support project for engaging young people Not in Education, Employment or Training in the Bloxwich and Blakenall Area. It offers 1 to 1 support and group work sessions to help you get into something you want to do. You can self refer by coming into the centre and also by referrals through outreach and networking through youth projects.

YAM oureach project

- Outreach will take place at various times in the week which are to be confirmed. (Takes place in Bloxwich, Blakenall and the surrounding areas to help reduce anti-social behaviour and engage young people in positive activities)
